Michelle & Heath Engagement Session at Beaver Lake

The original plan was to shoot Heath & Michelle's engagement session in March.  We all know what March is like in upstate NY, and since they were driving in from Connecticut we didn't want to risk the bad weather. We rescheduled for the end of April. Surely we thought, the weather will be perfect.  However, as the date drew nearer I got nervous, roads were flooding, hail was falling, not the ideal conditions to shoot in.  We were in luck though, and after days and days of torrential rain, the clouds parted, the sun came  up, and it finally felt and looked like spring.  

We headed out to the Beaver Lake Nature Center where we wandered the paths, trying to avoid the mud and standing water.  Heath and Michelle were a blast to work with and lot's of fun.  I can't wait to head up to the Adirondacks for their wedding in October!
